But still no joy. I enabled SNMP on the router.
When I use PRTG to create an SNMP Traffic sensor, it fails with an error "List index out of bounds (0)"
I then tried the Paessler SNMP Tester and it returns "No response".
Community is set to "Private" on both the router and PRTG. I'm not sure what I am missing.
I've had luck using build 16785 for the E3000 (dd-wrt.v24-16785_NEWD-2_K2.6_std_usb_nas-e3000.bin), though I don't know if it supports the specific SNMP functions you're looking to use.
Thanks for your reply. Other than SNMP, the 15962 version is meeting my needs. If you have no experience with getting SNMP to work on that particular version, I'm not so sure it gives me anything to work with.
I'm looking for help identifying, specifically, the problem of PRTG, MRTG, or something similar from getting SNMP information from the router. Just basic traffic in and traffic out monitor, nothing esoteric.
