Hello, from my ISP i got this parameter's
WanIP: 192.168.178.xxx
WanMask: 255.255.255.224
WanGW:192.168.178.129
L2TP server: 192.168.10.12
and user name, password
i have last build of DD-wrtv24PreSP2 in my dir-300, in Basic setup i select L2TP and i can enter only L2TP server and user name/password... were i can write the WanIP,Netmask,GW?
i try trought telnet write this with ifconfig
ifconfig vlan2 192.168.178.xxx netmask 255.255.255.224 gw 192.168.178.129
route add -net 192.168.10.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev vlan2
after that i can ping l2tp server, but after i press connect button in status->WAN page, l2tp connection not estabilished, and all parameter for vlan2 interface is reseting

the device gets the ip with dhcp. a static ip setting will be implemented soon, but is not available right now. so no gateway/ip/netmask is required for configuration _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? I have a new E2000 router. I use l2tp dial, and the router must have a static WAN ip address. But there is no tab to set the WAN ip while using l2tp, any idea? THX
WAN IP:10.10.0.45
WAN netmask:255.0.0.0
WAN gateway:10.10.0.1
