Guys, I've picked this project back up as i've run out of other stuff to do. So if any of you are still interested in testing, please let me know.
Where I left off 4 months ago, it seemed pretty impossible to replicate the web interface settings, as each version/flavour of DD-WRT had different settings, so it might just have to be an app that shows you stats of your router, and maybe a command interface to issue commands.
I currently have all the router status info showing, and a tab with Live data showing LAN Active Clients and Wireless Clients that refreshes every 2 seconds.
I've tested this away from home also, and as long as you have your router configured correctly, you can connect and get data by connecting directly to your home IP or by using a dyndns address.

I'm ready to upload this to the App store as v1.0
Before I do, I was wondering if anyone knows of any useful commands I could stick on buttons?
I currently just have a Reboot button.
Hi freddyemmer,
My first attempt at this app 3-4 months ago worked using a telnet connection instead of the web interface, so yes it is possible.
I'm not too sure whats involved to send a wake on lan command, maybe you can enlighten me and i'll see if it's possible.
By wake on lan, I assume your not meaning waking the router, but waking a device connected to the router? Is there a standard way to currently do this?
I have done some testing using WOL Magic Packet Sender, and I can easily send a WOL packet which is received by Magic Packet Sender. All thats needed is the internal IP address and MAC address of the network card.
However I can't get my computer to actually wake up, but this must be a problem with my pc as it wont wake up using ddwrt ssh command or using Magic Packet Sender (Which does succefully send the packets).
