I just thought I should mention, version 2 will be a free upgrade from version 1.

And thanks for the translation offers so far.

I can't find the "like" button..

Your app rocks! Smile

Merry Xmas to all..

I thought i'd show you all a sneak peak of version 2 which is almost ready for release:

One of the most requested features, was nothing to do with a router. Users wanted to customise the appearance of the app, so the aweful leather look has been binned. You now have a colour picker to choose whatever colour you want from millions available.

All the ugly buttons are gone. Now using a facebook style sliding page with a list of features.

I can't wait to release it.

I'm still looking for some translations if anyone is willing.

Thanks

Version 2 has been in review at Apple for the last 2 days, so i'm hoping it'll be approved today.
If thats the case, it will be released tomorrow, Tuesday 15th.

I hope you all like the changes, and please update your App Store reviews.

Thanks

It turns out there's no way to set a release date for an update, so it's out now Smile
Go and update everyone.

Can someone from Germany, Russia, Japan or France do me a quick favour.
Can you check the App Store listing and tell me if the screenshots show your language, or are they all English?

Thanks

This weekend I have been working on a new feature to be released in an update next week.

Wireless MAC Filter:
This makes it so simple and quick to block devices from your Wifi.
If you need to block your child's iPod or Playstation because they are meant to be doing homework, this is now very easy.

You may know by now, but it shows screenshots in German for me.

Thanks. I did find a way to view the foreign app stores in the end, but it's nice to have confirmation.

v 2.0.1 is awaiting Apple approval and should be released this week with a few bug fixes and the new Wireless MAC Filter feature to easily block devices.

Since you made an app for iOS, would you be interested in integrating Apple's sleep proxy (for wake on demand / wake on WiFi) into DD-WRT?

Thats the one feature I'm really missing.

I dont know anything about that sorry. Besides, if it's not built into dd-wrt i'm not sure I can help.

Is it something you can utilise by just issuing a command line command on the router?

Unfortunately, it's not. According to wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonjour_Sleep_Proxy it is an open-source mDNS implementation.

The word open source makes me believe some clever person who knows about this could implement it in DD-WRT.

Maybe, but my app only utilises whats already available in dd-wrt. I dont have any part in dd-wrt itself sorry.

Version 2.0.1 should be hitting the App Stores now with some bug fixes and the new Wireless MAC Filter feature.

I released version 2.0.2 last night with a few bug fixes and this morning i've had 3 crash reports from different people.
1 of the crash's occurred because the user's router didn't even have dd-wrt installed (I've added a check to the connect code).

The other 2 crashes however are really baffling me and don't report anything that should have made them crash.
They both occurred on Jailbroken devices and seemed to be problems with the actual UIKit of the device. Therefor not a developer problem, sorry.

I will look a bit more into these, but I can't promise a fix as I have no intention of Jailbreaking my phone to test it out.

Thanks
