Hello, and sorry for, maybe, asking you again this kind of question. I would like to go if it is possible to makeup a guest network for an Hotel, working through 7 AccessPoint all over the structure.
The only security I need is a request of a user and password, or through a captive page ore directly when someone cennected to wifi, in order to prevent, who doesn't have User and Pasword, to use the free wifi network. All this must be free, so no internet services like hotspot.com and others.
What I can do? how I can do that?

Yes get router and use this router onece it setup right your quest will need to get the password from you. may change it weekly or monthly if needed so only the paying customers can get internet service from you while staying in a room you can hook it up too another router using port 1-4 plug other end of the cat5 into Internet connection on the router will say open but will require a pasword too use the internet. might try downloading VirtualRouterInstaller

You can try this setup which works perfectly for me

you will need 2 supported ddwrt routers
in the example i use
wrt54G for the main network
WRT160N v1 with standard for the HOTSPOT

1. first download the Paypal-Chillidog project http://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/paypal-chillidog/paypal-chilli-dog-vmware.1.1.2-jvalla.zip

2. download Virtual machine player from vmware
3. extract and start the image you downloaded with vm player it will ask if you moved or copied it. answer that you moved it.
4. login with root-ddwrt then type this exactly
5. cd /etc/udev/rules.d/
6. mv z25_persistent-net.rules z25_persistent-net.rules.original
7. reboot
8. after the VM reloads type nano /etc/network/interfaces



9. add and make it look like this

allow-hotplug eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.105
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1




10. press Ctrl-X and then Y to save
11. reboot the VM
12. open a web browser to 192.168.1.105 you will get a window saying

13. you are now done setting up the server side.

14. now for the HOTSPOT Router side setup i have WRT160N v1 using build 14896 std


15. plug in to a lan port of the wrt160n HOTSPOT router and open a webpage to 192.168.1.1

click Wireless
Change the SSID from DDWRT to MYHOTSPOT
Click SAVE do no apply settings yet

then click on Setup->Basic Setup

make it look like this

local IP Address 192.168.100.1
Subnetmask 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.100.1
Local DNS 192.168.100.1

16.click SAVE do not apply Settings yet
17. Click on services and then the sub tab Hotspot

Enable the Chillispot
setup it up like this

Chillispot =Enable

Separate wifi from the LAN bridge =Enabled

DHCP interface =ETH2 <--- some routers this will be eth1 or even eth0 but for the wrt160n v1 its eth2

Remotenetwork =192.168.182.0/24
Primary Radius Server =192.168.1.105
Backup Radius Server =192.168.1.105
DNS IP =8.8.8.8
Redirect URL=https://192.168.1.105/cgi-bin/hotspotlogin.cgi DONOT FORGET the S in HTTPS it wont work if you do.
Shared Key =testing123
Radius Nas ID =1234
UAM Secret =testing123
UAM any DNS =0
UAM Allowed=192.168.1.105,192.168.1.1
MACauth =Disabled

Now SAVE AND Apply Settings
Plug the wrt160n wan port to a LAN port on the wrt54G
make sure your server pc running the VMimage is plugged to the Lan port of the wrt54G also

if you need to access the hotspot ddwrt admin on the WRT160n you will have to connect to a lan port on the WRT160N and open webpage to 192.168.100.1

18. all should be working now connect using wireless to SSID MYHOTSPOT

depending on what version of windows you are using it will say Do you have a username and password select NO, open a WEB browser to complete the connection

you will get a website secuirity problem click the Continue to this page and Boom yer there login and password



19. NOW Create a login by navigating on any pc on the LAN or wireless to https://192.168.1.105/wifi-1.1.1/admin

Use the username admin and admin to login

20.
click ADD USER
and set up the account
select how much time you want to give ect ect

21. login with the credentials you just made.
