Hi,

I noticed that i can not update to any newer builds after 17201 via webflash not TFTP.
Downgrade is not a problem just 17967 and onwards gives an update error.

There where always two firmware files available for the Routerstation but from build 17967 on there is only one file available called ubnt_rs-firmware.bin, but this is the one we need for Webflash.

ubnt_rs-firmware.bin = Webflash
RS.dd-wrt.bin = TFTP image

Could it be they are only TFPT images and got the name misplaced?

Thx for any solution!!!

Yep thats it, the file is too big.

r17201 = 14.45 MB
r17967 = 16.43 MB

The Routerstation has only 16MB flash memory

Guys,

I have an R52Hn card and a another 802.11b/g card in the RSPRO. When I do a site survey now on the R52Hn card which I have set to 802.11a/n only it shows the other 802.11b/g cards SSID. This never use to be the case and its showing the RS`SI as 13~ DB which im hoping wont cause any problems.

SSID1 AP 00:0C:42:XX:XX:XX 10 11 -95 100 No 0 150(b/g/n)
SSID2 AP 02:0C:42:XX:XX:XX 10 8 -95 100 No 0 150(b/g/n)

You say: This never use to be the case
So I assume that you have this after an update or not?
Wich build are you using and what was the version before?

Deadbiker:

I am running 18777 with no problems.

Download from the following FTP Server.

ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2012/

Also... the support is pretty much useless from the person above. I "was" a paying customer but have now moved my devices off ddwrt

I did not lose my configuration. But I would recommend taking a backup.

Yes you can flash it via the Web Interface. Use the longer named file
