hi, I can't download any of the latest ddwrt software, I think it's a problem with that, so if someone has one of the latest firmware for 615 H1, please send it to me via PM or on the e-mail at "my username"@yahoo.com
Thank you to all.
To all the admins and gurus: is it ok to send him the files? I don't like to get in trouble with dd-wrt because of opening a "sharing platform". In the past I got a warning based on a similar topic.

ok, I know that it sounds unbelievable, but after I have updated the router firmware with r25697 (this was the latest that I could find and download), now I am able to see and download the latest r28788, I can't see the link between the update and the thing that now the link to the firmware really have content that I can see and download...
@ervau thank you for your concern and your attention.
You're welcome.
I can't see any link neither between installed FW and the ability of your browser to show the content of some INet site.
Anyway main issue: it works!

Hi, I found this old dir-615 and just tried to upgrade to 04-25-2016-r29519 but I cannot access the web interface. No matter what firmware I have chosen up until now, impossible to get the web interface (i change my static ip to 192.168.1.2). I can only access the firmware upgrade page (pressing reset, then connect to power). Do you think there is any chance to recover it or should I just through it to the recycling bin?
By pressing reset & repower the device you're in the emegency room; there I only was able to install D-Link firmware.
Power up the router press reset and try to reach the web interface with 192.168.0.1 or 1.1. According to that you have to set the ip of your pc.
Instaed of that procedure press reset for about 15sec. and than try the steps described above. Under Windows OS you can also try ipconfig /all (setting your pc to "get ip via DHCP") to find out the ip of the router.
In the past I couldn't find out any systematic. That's why I tried the steps described above.
Good luck.

Total novice here, just flashed r30260 trough the web interface. Works fine for now , just finished setting up wireless and internet. still have to do my port forwarding.
Which file did you flash to your router? The dir615h-ddwrt-webflash.bin or the dlink-dir615h-factory-webflash.bin? If it is the dlink-dir615h-factory-webflash.bin, then upgrade the router again to dir615h-ddwrt-webflash.bin as it should at least has PPTP but not OpenVPN due to DIR615 version H has only 4M of flash.

If your router is with the stock firmware (from it's manufacturer), flash it with the FACTORY webflash. If it is already updated with DDWrt, flash it with the other one.
For all others - 12-15-2016-r30949 is working fine.
