I have a Buffalo WHR-300 HP2. I'm also a bit of dd-wrt noob, so I apologize for stupid questions

I was able to flash the firmware to the latest version via the web app.
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/23/14)
(SVN revision 24461)

I'm assuming this is the correct build, but I could be wrong.

I am trying to setup the repeater bridge, but can't seem to get it to work. I do the following things to configure it.
1. Set the local ip to 192.168.1.1
2. Goto Wireless Tab
3. Set Mode To Repeater Bridge
4. Network Mode to Mixed (matching my wireless network)
5. SSID to match wireless network
6. Channel to match wireless network
7. Goto Wireless Security
8. Set WEP key to wireless network key

After applying changes, I can't seem to connect the router to the wireless network. Looking through the forum, I've seen a number of posts on setting up the repeater bridge, but none specific to my router. I've tried a lot of different things with no luck.

I thought I'd come straight to the source, and see what experience you guys have had with this.

thanks.

As I mentioned here, it worked for me for one week Sad

However I did not bridge but created a separate subnet with client mode: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Mode

Can you update to the latest build or restore the factory firmware?

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to working on this.

I flashed to 24461 through the Buffalo Web Interface.

No no matter what I do, I can't install anything else.

I tried flashing to a newer build and the factory build, using the web interface ... nothing.

I also tried using tftp on multiple ips, and multiple configurations...nothing

This is driving me nuts.

I read a few different posts about it not having a tftp server. So you actually need to run one on you pc, and have the router connect to it as you boot.

I'm going to try that tonight, and see how it goes.

I know it's not the same router, but I'm going to try it with the stock firmware, and see if tries to connect to the tftp server I set up.
