I have 50mbps internet connection, but my DIR-300 B1 with DD-WRT cuts it to about 10mbps (wifi b/g or g only), 20mpbs (wifi, n only) or 30mbps (router-PC wire). When connected directly to the modem, I get full speed of 50mbps. Why does D-Link cut it? I've tried three different DD-WRT versions (15704, 16785 and 18007).

Out of interest, did you ever get better speed out of it wireless?

Did you go back and try factory firmware?
