Yep, unfortunately this was a pretty expensive lesson to learn. Unless you guys can think of any last ditch efforts, I think I might just have to bite the bullet and buy a new router... *sigh*

With the power light blinking and the router responding to ping w/ ttl=64; the router is still in TFTP host mode.
I'd try to TFTP a diffferent .img version - always waiting the 5-15 min afterward; as suggested.
FYI: Every v2 I've ever tried had to be upgraded via .img over TFTP.
When I've tried to webflash, the unit locks up.
Then I'll reboot it and it responds to about 5 pings. Then it goes offline again.
It's pretty much the same as everyone else.
And - I've never had one come back in less than 5 minutes after a TFTP flash.
It takes about 10 minutes for everything to fully settle down.
I can't say why it's like that, but it is.
The good news is TFTP flashing of .img files consistently works, as long as it's done correctly.
