Hi,

I have here a couple Rocket M5 where the ethernet ports are not responding.

I see the boot procedure over the serial header and it boots just fine just like the units that are working.

No ping is possible to 192.168.1.20 but on the laptop ethernet port it recognise as 100mbps full-duplex connection.

Reset of the device (8sec reset) does not help and also Firmware Factory Recovery (TFTP) does not work but I see in the boot that TFTP is started and listning on 192.168.1.20 when I reset longer than 18sec.

Could it be that the Base-T transformer is going bad?

Any advice on how to resolve this problem?

EDIT: I did flash the latest air-os version 5.5 to the rocket.

EDIT2: found what i assume is the beta firmwares that is always getting mentioned found here at this link:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/other-downloads?path=others%2Feko%2FBrainSlayer-V24-preSP2%2F2011%2F
downloaded and flashed the r1824

after watching the ddwrt kernal boot via the serial header, it seems to boot, but gets stuck in an infinant loop of sorts:

connect: Network is unreachable
connect: Network is unreachable
connect: Network is unreachable
gethostbyname: Network is unreachable

and there is no way to see if the httpd daemon is running because if you press enter, it goes to this:
