ASUS RT-N16 and PPTP/HMA won´t connect

Hello everyone!

I have happily been using Netflix through my dd-wrt flashed Asus RT-N16 and HMA. A week ago I shut down my Asus and now simply cannot get it to connect to hidemyass as it did previously using my routers PPTP settings. It simply connects to my ISP´s IP address instead as if the router was set to Automatic Configuration - DHCP instead of PPTP. Any ideas anyone ?

Turns out my RT-N16 will connect with the L2TP protocol, but does anyone have any explanation why PPTP has stopped working ? Thanks.
