I have a serial console hooked to a dir600b.
now is there CFE for this chip? If not how would I do nvram erase?
Is it available under the web interface or ssh?

which is the same thing as U-boot, a boot loader with some debug cmds.

You can erase the nvram with the erase cmd if you know the flash memory address where nvram resides.

help erase will give you the syntax.
