Was just using the DD-WRT QoS for the first time (My application based shaping expired), and found there was one major feature missing.. the option to set a default priority to be used if the connection doesn't already have a priority set.
For example:
I've set port 80 to Premium (I use the BBC iPlayer a lot)
I've set Steam's Content port to Standard
However, I'd like to have -some- bandwidth left for BF2 (Even if I set steam to bulk), but the port changes on a server-to-server basis so I can't set a priority for it.
If I could set the default priority (of unspecified connections) to "Express", BF2 would probably be able to actually log in despite steam trying to download stuff.

It would seem like a relatively easy feature to implement, and I'm surprised it's been overlooked so far.
For example:
I've set port 80 to Premium (I use the BBC iPlayer a lot)
Setting port 80 would do WWW and anything eles on port 80 but...The way i have done it is bought a i-Can Freeview HD Receiver from maplin for £20 sale and i set the netmask priority for 192.168.1.4/32 as my setup box is on 192.168.1.4 and i have set that for premium.
