Hi All,

My first post as I have been unsuccessful in finding a similar issue in another post.

I have an old Sony PCWAC150S Wireless PCIMCA card in an old IBM X30 laptop. It's installed with Qimo a kids distro based on Ubuntu with the xfce desktop environment.

The router is a VirginMedia Freebie

Router Model Dlink-DIR615 rev d
Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/21/10) std - build 15778

I've only been running DD-WRT a few days and I'm mightily impressed but I can't seem to connect this one laptop to it. On the network manger list, my SSID is greyed out whilst my neighbours ones are in black lettering.

Radio Radio is On
Mode AP
Network Mixed
Channel 6 (2437 MHz)
TX Power 71 mW
Rate 54 Mb/s
Encryption - Interface wl0 Enabled, WPA2 Personal

I can connect other devices to my DD-WRT router ok and the troublesome IBM laptop can successfully connect to my wireless router in work.

Any ideas folks ?

Many thanks
Belfast
