My new RT-N66U is a version 3003.90 and worked with the original Firmware. I upgraded than to dd-wrt24-18702 mini which showed up nicely but after reboot i could not connect anymore to my router.

I run the emergency restore with the RT-N66U 300390trx buts still no success. Maybe the memory is still not cleared. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

1. If you hold the reset and turn the router on then off it will go into reset mode.

2. Download the Flash recovery tool and use it to upload the asus firmware again.

3. Now go back into the recover mode and select 'Restore default NVRAM values'. This step is what make the restore finally work. Without it nothing will be effected by the flash recovery tool.

I've had to do this many many times. It will work.
