First of all hello!

I want to upgrade my network security at home. I am renting a server so I can connect to it to make use of OpenVPN.

I want to put DD-WRT on my router and have my router be the client. I want any device connected to the router to automatically connect to the VPN. Is this possible? I do not want to have to modify every device that goes over my network. For example of friends come over and they want to use the wifi I do not want to have to create certs for them etc.

Is this a possibility? If so how?

Thanks.

If you set up a vpn tunnel on a router, as a VPN client, all clients that connect to that router will use the tunnel. There is a wiki for instructions on all this, and a search function. Some builds work better than others, but that might depend on the router you use. See the first post in this forum.
