I have a cell broadband connection that I want to use for my home internet. It has a wireless connection for clients to use. I don't know if there's a limit to the number of possible connections, but there probably is. Also, I have other local devices, such as a NAS that are on a wire. My goal is to make it all one big happy working network.

I have at my disposal two wireless routers - a wrt54gl and a wrt610n, both with rev14929 loaded. Naturally, I'd prefer to be using my 610 'cause of the added features.

option 1) I've successfully setup the 54gl in client mode so that a machine wired to it can see the internet. However, when I try to connect wirelessly, it just goes straight to the phone. If it's to function in client mode, I'd want all devices to connect to it only. That way the NAS is visible.

option 2) Maybe I can't do that, maybe I need two interfaces. Good thing the 610n has two antennas! Is this what I need to do - use one interface to connect to the phone, the other to offer a connection to the network?

option 3) Can I use my 610n's usb as a tether connection to the phone?

TIA

Um, thanks... but that really didn't address any of my questions.
