E2000 wont work at all on 5Ghz with DD-WRT 14929?? HELP!

I have no issue with 14929. I have a 320n with the CFE conversion to make it an e2000.

I put 14929 on because in the Broadcom forum at the top it says "Firmware Recommendations - Still 14929 - 02/24/13"

No issues here so I'm not chancing an update. If it ain't broke - don't fix it!

I had a similar issue. I tried upgrading to 15962 and it didn't seem to help. What did seem to help was manually setting the channel to 161 - 5.805 GHz. Other channels might have worked but I saw this one listed as a good choice on the main dd-wrt wiki page for the E2000.

Here are the settings I'm using that are working:
Net Mode: N-Only (5 ghz)
Channel: 161 - 5.805 Ghz
Width: 40 Mhz
Control: upper
SSID Broadcast enabled
Range: 2000
Network Bridged

So as of the end of 2013 what is the best build for the E2000? Is 15962 still the best build to date as barryware wrote?
