Hey all, I have a Linksys E2000 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/13/11) big(SVN revision 16785). Runs great, everything works, though I've never been pleased with LAN thruput. Speed test online shows about 20mb down/5mb up speeds, but when I transfer a file on the LAN I get about 1.6mb/sec. (I know they are unrelated, here's my question). When I turn on Wireless Multimedia with defaults to get the benefits of my N router my local filetransfer goes from 1.6mb/sec to about 11mb/sec which is great! The problem is my speedtest drops to about 1.5-2mb/sec instead of the previous 18-20mb. Anyone have any ideas why WMM would drop my speedtest results so drastically? I've looked for a WMM configuration wiki to customize all the defaults but they might as well be in Hyroglyphics.

for N to work you need WMM on so just leave that alone. Why speed testing drops seems like a configuration issue.
