hmmmm .. then thats awesome .. now my device is working awesome.. the real problem was i think the power adapter.. now its much better and stable..
and i m connecting at 150m.. thats awesome..

also is there anythin that needs to be done to tweak its rangew..? can we do some settings to increase its range..?

in the Wireless --> Basic Settings --> Advanced Settings [box checkd] the Antenna Gain is shown as 0 .. whewaras my anteena is 5 db ?

The antenna gain setting doesn't influence on range. It's for don't exeed the maximum transmit power (dbm) for country selected. You can leave in 0.

thanks man.. you have been of much help... hope these posts will also help others . my issue is fixed now ..
so i would strongly urge anyone who has the wan not getting ip to also look at their power adapter.. as it was the issue in my case.. i verified it.. with that adapter i instantly get back that problem..

hay guess what did i nearly avoided bricking my router ?

i in the title of this thread mistakenly said i have wr-741 but mine is wr-740n .. luckily i mentioned it in my post .. anyhow i will correct the title
