Sir i have tp link tlwr740n wireless router & i have uploaded v24 sp2 firmware from this site. now firmware is ok. I'm able to open webgui. but when i assign static ip to my wan ip my router's lan ip 192.168.1.1 is got non-pingable. My wan port is not assign to switch port.

is it firmware bug...? router was working ok yeterday before upgrading dd-wrt firmware.

if i will try to restore firmware available from tplink website for version 4.1. it generates error of upgrade failed.

please tell me what to ..?

what wan and lan ips u assigned ?
if ur wifi router lan ip is 192.168.1.1 then ur router wan ip should not be 19.168.1.x .. where x is 0-254 ..

try giving wan an ip of 192.168.2.1.. or whatever is the subnet on other end..

what is wan port of this router connected to ?
you can also set the wan ip to dynamic and lan ip to 192.168.2.1 .. this will surely work..
