I have just flashed a Netgear WNR2000 v2 with dd-wrt.v24-16785_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-WNR2000v2.chk

When I power it up all the lights stay solid and nothing happens. If I then disconnect the power and immediately reconnect the unit boots up and works fine with the power light unlit.

Is this normal?

Thanks.

no.. not normal..

when you have it running, use the gui to reset it to factory defaults.

then use the gui to reboot the router.

Thanks for the reply. Tried your suggestion but still the same. When it is running just the internet and wireless lights are lit, no power light.

do you still need to power it up twice, or the only remaining issues is the power light?

There are a few routers (don't know which ones atm) where the gpio's need a bit of work. Maybe yours is one of them. You can prolly hunt for the right gpio and report.
