I heard once that all broadcom devices can use afterburner
It's just that Linksys sold the WRT54GS with afterburner in the stock firmware as a gimick to make people buy it
But in all reality
Any broadcom device can use afterburner once flashed with DD-WRT or any other 3rd party firmware that supports afterburner

Am I right??

I'm actually curious if anyone even uses it.
I haven't felt the need to enable it on my network.
Exactly what % in speed are users supposed to see?

Would this be worth it on a Client Bridge connection between two DDWRT Broadcom routers?

It only works when it is enabled on the router
And all clients connected to that router are using it too
Otherwise the wireless will actually be slower
So no, I don't use it on any of my routers, and mine are all broadcom
