I get very high CPU usage via the update_hosts.sh script when I enable mypage (sleep 60 runs and runs and doesn't stop). I was wondering if I am using an out of date version.
I've done some browsing of the source website http://ddwrt.basmaf.com/ but can't tell what the current version of OTRW2 is, to check my version against. Any pointers?
Also, is upgrading the same as installing for the first time, just execute the pre_optware script?

Hello all,
I cannot get Samba3 to start at all. I keep getting this error:
root@DD-WRT:/opt/etc/init.d# service samba start
Service "samba" is disabled (/opt/etc/init.d/S08samba)
* samba is not running
I checked the smb.cnf file, looked at a number of other posts online, did a chmod on the S80samba script.
No luck!!
Help, hints, suggestions. (Sorry, Big F__ing Hammer is not a valid one)

The e3000 would not take the 60k file, update failed. The router did take the 32k file, usb-ftp-samba3-vpn-nv32k-broadcom but then proceeded to brick the router. Power light flashing on/off for about 20 minutes.

Great job by the way on OTRW2, I love bash.
i;d like to know how to update as well. I;ve had my OTRW2 install running for a while and recently my Asus RT-N16 running 19519 died. I replaced it with another RT-N16 running Kong 22000+ and it worked with the same USB stick.
however, I noticed that CPU utilization is higher than before(constantly at 50-70%). Maybe it;s a combo of many factors like PPTP VPN working hard(I can only remote into this router to monitor) or maybe the update script was running correctly with MyPage/BWMon(my BWMon wasn;t updating for some reason in 19519) but like the guy who asked the question, I wonder if maybe my versions are out of date.

I have finally found some time to take a stab at Take 2, installing on an E4200 equipped with the latest kingkong 22000++.
The first service I went to set up is vlighttpd, since the has caused me some problems in the past, and sure enough as soon as I start the service I am getting:
Code:
/opt/sbin/lighttpd: symbol 'errno': can't handle reloc type 47
I had this issue when I first configured lighttpd on my install. I think it was a well known problem.
I believe there was some entry I made into the lighttpd.conf file to fix that. I just don;t remember what it is.
i am currently still running lighttpd on my router. _________________ Please state what make and model router plus the build number and type of DD-WRT you are using. where is the location of those conf files? _________________ Please state what make and model router plus the build number and type of DD-WRT you are using.
