Processor or CPU: RT1310A(ARM) - Note, other than Buffalo WZR2-G300N, Airlink AR680 and Edimax BR-6504n are also using the same ralink processor . The processor speed MAY be 300mhz.

Have returned this today and got a Linksys WRT150N which is still in the post.
The WZR2-300N works well though but I want to play with DD-WRT and tomato.

I also want to play it with DD-WRT,hope it will support wzr2-g300n soon.
This router is nice except the firmware......
Ask, and you shall receive. I just happened to acquire one of these recently.
Here are pictures for the Buffalo WZR2-G300N:
They decided to go fancy on the screws and make them star bit for the outside. But luckily they aren't the security screws from the WRT54G2, I'm also working on, that had the pin in the middle.
Opening the top was not too tricky. After the screws were removed, you had to jimmy it gently left & right while pulling up the top. Don't force it, because the back will come up while something pinches in the front. Too much stress pulling up on the back and it will break something in the front.
Now the whole board is comfortably exposed for exhibition. Interesting to notes, there was a sticker over the LAN ports with the MAC address...? Usually it's on the outside of the chassis.
You can see, partially hidden by components, this connector near the upper part of the board:
Hopefully you can get all the information off the chips from the pictures. Just click on the pictures to enlarge. If not, I'll post it.
Looks like it's got nearly every connector in the book. I'm wondering if that's a TTL connection at the bottom middle of the board.

Any word on a port for this device? Since Buffalo's lawsuit a while back there have been no new firmwares released in the states.. _________________ Linksys WRT600N as AP v24
