Help! I can't restore the default firmware of DIR-300 rev A.

Hello people, I have a DIR-300 rev A router that I'll use as a Repeater. But, I need to restore the default firmware, I had read a lot of tutorials, and on all of them procediments, my Putty just don't show anything.
The correct on all tutorials was start with a RedBot> at Putty, but on mine, it doesn't show. And in like 10-15 sec, Putty gets closed...

What can I do?
