Fresh out of the box WR1043ND. Flashed straigh to 19342.

Configured for N/G only 20Mhz, fixed on CH11, WPA2 AES.

USB Storage support ON
Automatic Drive Mount ON
SAMBA ON
ProFTPD OFF

Insert USB 250GB NTFS drive
Drive auto-mounts correctly
Can see router and drive on Windows 7 machine
Windows times out trying to connect.

Same configuration but...
Insert 8GB FAT32 thumbdrive
SAMBA works flawlessly

SAMBA OFF
ProFTPD ON
Insert USB 250GB NTFS
Drive mounts correctly
Can see folder using FTP client, but when trying to open, get a folder error

Insert 8GB FAT32 thumbdrive
ProFTPD works flawlessly

Tried this on 3 different computers. Is NTFS support broken in this build?

Decided to reformate USB 250GB drive EXT4
When inserting, EXT4 does NOT mount

Guessing there is NO EXT4 support in this build?

Reformatted USB 250GB drive EXT3
Insert drive, and it mounts correctly
SAMBA ON, ProFTPD OFF
Drive works flawlessly on Windows 7 client

Same drive, but SAMBA OFF, and ProFTPD ON
Can see the drive, but get FTP error trying to connect to it?

When telnet into router, it shows drive mounted as EXT2. Thought something might be wrong,so reformatted drive as EXT2 and retried scenario. ProFTPD still does not work.

Tried all these using a username / password combination (annonymous disabled).

Anyone have some ideas what is wrong?
