I had a Tp-Link 730e Release 1.0, I already flash the firmware several time bt never find the repeater function. I already read a lot of people asking the same. But not see an answer. I already made the 30-30-30 and nothing. Same issue no repeater option.

Hi
I have just a few questions, my tp link wa730re works fine with official firmware v2, but i have an issue when connecting with airport express, the thing is that airplay has no option when receiving internet with the extender.
I read that a possible solution was upgrading it to dd-wrt firmware.
I have just read the forum for using the firmware for v2, does anyone has this same issue when trying to connect to airport express? Will this solve my issue?

Does anyone successfully found a fully functional match dd-wrt build for the Version 1, that runs smoothly without any Problems?
post problems you have with 730 Ver.1
Cause I read a lot of happy members on this Thread that had flashed with LOM suggested files.
Or test other WA801NDv1 files and post results

I tried the TL-WA801ND v1 DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/08/12) std - build 19342 firmware for my TL-WA730RE v1 and it works fine. Connection to my main router is stable. One LAN-Port (there is only one!) is also working fine.
Even the Status - Router (Router Information) page shows the Router Model is TP-Link TL-WA801ND v1 even though it's a TL-WA730RE v1 model.
I noticed that the Wireless Packet Info showed 8440 Errors (still growing) at Received (RX). Is that normal?
Maybe I'm just lucky that the firmware in my case worked. I can't confirm if it'll work for others with the same TL-WA730RE v1. Thank you DD-WRT community for the tipp!
Did anyone try the latest 03-13-2014-r23720 (TL-WA801ND v1 model build) for TL-WA730RE v1?

if all is working fine for you, and still want to know how r23720 works, why dont you be the one to test it, and post back results.

I'm just being curious if anyone else had tried the 03-13-2014-r23720 build. As you can read the 19342 build is from the year 2012.
It doesn't take much to ask nicely, regarding to your empty question.
Besides, it is always helpfull to read about other users great tipps and successfull firmware upload experience and giving them Feedback from our experience after we tried it ourself if needed.

Sorry to ask again, but I read the instructions and try almost 100 times and still I can't configure as a range extender.
What I need is a basic router to extend the range of the Wifi. I made a deal with my neighboor and we split the internet bill. I just need to configure the router to extend the signal and create a new network name for my pc and laptop.
Right now I install again the factory Rom and use it as range extender, but it freeze a lot and I read that with the DD-WRT Rom it work excellent.

Please help me.
I tried this process many many many many months ago (FYI I've been configuring Repeater Bridge & Client Bridge on DD-WRT Firmware devices for many years), then I dscovered that it had issues adding virtual access point. I tried diffrent setup methods suggested by many users, including the once that I already knew from the wiki-site, but still it won't work. I only managed to setup the "Client Bridge" method easly within minutes, which is working fine, you just have to use the ethernet cable to access the internet.
Some routers have these issues for example Netgear WNR2000v3.
I don't know why, it won't work.
If anyone else had a suggestion regarding to this devices, please feel free to comment.
