The firmware r24118 from TL-WA801ND v1 for the TL-WA730RE v1.1 has a problem with the LAN-Port. Read Details down bellow:
Router Model: TP-Link TL-WA730RE v1.1
Status: OK
Reset: No
Errors: LAN-Port
Info: I used the TL-WA801ND v1 firmware. For more details: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=156287&highlight=wa730re
After I flashed this latest firmware, I noticed that the LAN-Port LED light doesn't work and the connection via patch-cable got lost. I connected to the routers dd-wrt control pannel by WIFI and reverted back to the previous firmware build r23919. It worked again. I'm not recommending anyone to flash their Routers with any firmware threw WIFI, but in my case it was the only necessary step.

I've got two 730v1 with dd-wrt latest 801-firmware. One configured as AP, the other as bridge. Connection between theese 2 is ok. The probleme is, that i can't get to the Internet from any clients connected to the bridge. Neither wired, nor wireless, nor from the bridge itself (via diagnostic/ping-command). Connection in the network is working fine, also opening the webinterfaces of the other routers is working.
The wired thing is, that internet sometimes workes for a limited time after i changed some settings, and after that it's dead again...
The question is, where should i look for a solution?
just to clearify: it was never working since i upped the dd-wrt firmware. Neither withe the factory-to-ddwrt firmware, nor with the lastest 801 update.
Hmm, internet seems to be reachable, if i disable encryption. At least it works for more than 24h now.
The only thing i missed regarding this point is, that i must activate mac-filtering. Now how should that be done with 2 730s? atm i've set up the bridge according to the guide with a physical and a virtual bridge. The second one is configured as ap with no virtual device.
i could imagine, that the ap should get a virtual device too, and that mac-filtering should be enabled only on the physical devices. But i'm not shure...
Anyone got that running (with internet connection on bothe ends for wired and wireless clients) with encryption enabled?

No need for virtual interface on AP side
I advice you to get AP -Client first running with encryption 24/7 then carry on with Mac filtering
Did you use this guide http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge and instead
Of Default GW Mode: Auto (DHCP), manually enter IP of the host if no internet on auto you set manual and added Gateway from AP _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR741ND V4
