Sorry I realised I downloaded the totally wrong link.
I've used your firmware version and it works perfectly! Thank-you very much

Hi All
Im trying to make use of my otherwise useless WA830V1 Range extender. Ive gone through the threads here but cannot for the life of me work out why Im getting the error message. I have tried many versions of the factory to ddwrt bin files going back to 2012 when the thread first began...(using the WA801ND files)
I just get:
Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.
Hi folks!
I have a question, if I install the modified version in my stock WA830RE v1 and then update it to last release (r33772 for WA801ND v1), it works?
Anyone have tested?
If I can test this tonight.

I would have to take the time to do some research on specific modifications done to the test file at the beginning of this thread, but you may run into the 33375 upgrade issue if you're not careful. It seems that the WA801NDv1 webupgrade files were recommended to be used until official support came, but it seems that BrainSlayer never added official support. So, for continued unofficial support and a more current firmware, you would need to flash the test file and then upgrade to 42954 or newer.
