Is it possible in the TL-WR740N router to adjust transmit power of wifi antenna?
Maybe, my question is connected with general one:
Are all options of DD-WRT software available for the router model which is on the Supported Devices list?

Well the option is there but for my WR740N V4 doesn't do much. It only changes between two values 16 and 18 no matter what is set to the txpower.

I also have a WRT160NL and for this one it works well.

I've heard that the tx power adjustment in original firmware worked e.g. in version v.2. Actually in v.4 not works, so probably it is hardware restriction. I've thought that the newer device should have more options, but in this case it's not true. Mysterious ...
