PPTP VPN not working V24-SP2

I have flashed a WRT54GL with V24-SP2 VPN edition and for the life of me I can not get a Windows XP PC, Windows 7 Pro PC, or an Android phone to connect. I am using the following settings on the VPN page:
PPTP Server- Enable
Broadcast Support- Enable
Force MPPE Encryption- Enable
DNS1- 8.8.8.8
DNS2- 8.8.4.4
WINS1- blank
WINS2- blank
Server IP- blank
Client IPs- 192.168.1.20-192.168.1.30
CHAP-Secrets- "vpn * PasswordHere *"

What do I need to do to get the VPN to connect properly?

PPTP VPN is broken since build 18777.
Use some older version and it will work.

My WRT54GL 1.1 is on build 14929. No issues at all

I'm actually running 14896. Should I downgrade further?
Edit: Downgraded to 14311, still no luck.
Edit: No luck on 13064 either.

Try specifying the server IP of the router (e.g., 192.168.1.1).

Also, I don't think the CHAP-Secrets should be quoted in total, only individual items, if needed.

I didn't have the CHAP-Secrets in quotes, just in this post. I also tried specifying the public IP of the router, not the private. I can't get to the router again tonight as it is at work, but I will try that tomorrow.
