Hello.

Yesterday, I've flashed the trailed NEWD-2 firmware to my E900. The only point for this, was to change the TX power setting in order to achieve a bit more power, since I was not having good WiFi signal strength in some rooms.

I've read some articles about that, even on this forum.
The value 84 mW seems to be a good number. Firmware defaults to 71.

What would you think?.

71 is Auto for old builds. That doesn't mean it is actually "71". It will output Max power according to regulatory domain settings. You can't "overclock" output power.
