This is because this is written on the TP_link site. If they use this for marketing they should have sent at least a unit to the DD-WRT developers.

I think TP-LINK add that comment at the bottom of all their (applicable chipset) routers as a precaution, but agreed it would be good if they sent one as I know the support of dd-wrt positively effects their sales!!

@ checho: Any updates on this? The tracking from your mail provider isn't very helpful since the last update is one and a half week old.I assume the device should have reached the DD-WRT team already?

Hi, I'm using the TL-WR2543ND and it's dreadful.

I'd really like A DD-WRT build for it, and would donate to get it. Anyone else still interested?

Flashed it a while ago. Router is dead now .. only blue power led is on. No ping, nothing .. any ideas ?

only serial will help. unfortunatly. i will retest this posted image here since i found the same issue (but i dont know the reason)

for serial recovery here some instructions
local ip of your pc must be 192.168.1.254 and a tftp server must running within the folder where the fw file is placed


setenv serverip 192.168.1.254
erase 0x9f020000 +7c0000
tftpboot 0x81000000 factory-to-ddwrt.bin
cp.b 0x81000000 0x9f020000 7c0000
bootm 0x81000000
