So, after my latest episode with jffs, I have followed advice from an IRC member which his handle I cannot recall ('V' something, if you're reading this, thank you ), I have successfully configured and mounted an external USB flash disk to use as a /jffs partition. The process was pretty straightforward, and now I have R/W access to a 16gb partition with file persistence over reboots.
But of course, our journey does not end here, as the ways of embedded arch gods are unperdictable and mysterious.
