I have a Linksys e2500 that I am trying to function as a repeater bridge.

I've installed this version of dd-wrt.v24-19342_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-e2500.bin according to the directions in the wiki (http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_E2500) I performed all of the 30-30-30 resets and wait times as directed and it came up and seemed happy.

I followed the initial flash with flashing dd-wrt.v24-19342_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k.bin according to the instructions in the Peacock Thread. (http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=51486)

I got the password prompts after each 30-30-30 reset and waited all of the times it was indicated in the instructions.

I then logged into the web interface and configured it according to: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge

Again everything went as expected with all of the resets and waits etc. I was able to connect through the bridge using a wired connection to the bridge router. I was then able to connect wirelessly through the bridge to the host router. This works fine sometimes but the virtual interface on the repeater bridge apparently quits transmitting its SSID from time to time. When this happens it appears to be scanning for a channel to connect to on the bridge router's status page.

The channel option goes away when the repeater bridge option is configured so I re-did the configuration after a 30-30-30 reset. This time I chose the same channel as the host router (in this case 7) when I did the initial set up. Again this did just like above and quit working and was scanning again.

I've read all I can find about this over the last two weeks and have made little progress.

Any assistance or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
William
