|
I found a couple of Atera CLX 400 units at our company and obviously the first thing to check was the chipset. Unfortunately no broadcom but Cortina SoCs. Normally I'd leave it at that, however, the specs are actually quite good: 32-bit 400 MIPS ARM9 RISC cpu, 60MB sdram and 30MB flash.
Apart from 2 wan ports the unit features 2 usb connectors (USB 2.0 supported by the SoC) and uses an Gigabyte GN-WI01GS wireless card with 2 antenna outputs.
Finally theres an 10-pin header on the board. I've yet to trace it.
Specs on the SoC can be found here http://www.cortina-systems.com/products/download/330 and here http://www.cortina-systems.com/products/view/72
Obviously I'd love to have DD-WRT on this unit. Is there anyone working on support for the Cortina SoC, or anyone who'd like to take this project on, that is, if other people can profit from this as well. (I don't know how easy it would be to convert a build from this device to one for a different cortina SoC).
I can provide developers with one or two units if that is required |
