Thanks.
Has anyone figured out and listed the best settings for this router to get wireless to work best?

My wireless is pretty flaky still and I'm not sure why.

Hope someone can help or point me in the right direction, I have kong ac installed and for some reason, unknown at this time, my router was in asus recovery when i came back from work today. Eventually reset it to dd-wrt stock with Kong AC, but now my 5ghz wireless is not sending or receiving anything. Ive setup everything same as was before but nothing at all for 5ghz.

anyone help ???

what is it - dead spi flash or dead nand flash or something else??

I got the same error you had above:
Wait until reset button released...

My AC66u completely failed to boot, it started with a rapidly blinking power light.

I was able to TFTP a recovery image but after the first restart I would end up at the error again (using a USB TTL cable to get the console output)

After I loaded an ASUS FW I tried switching the WPS button to Wireless Toggle, from the console I could see the toggle on/off repeatedly..

So after fiddling with the button I decided to just simply desolder it. After that was complete and the button removed... it works perfectly now.

Hope this helps someone Smile

When I said that, one had been released on the 15th. There has since been another one released.
