Hello!
I have installed latest firmware v3 beta.
But I have very low WAN<->LAN speed (about 150MBit). At Merlin firmware the speed more than 300 MBit. Is it possible to do something to improve speed?

Yeah, Lan speeds aren't to hot. Not a fun thing if you are trying to do Steam Streaming. Getting up to 20% frame drops...

Have there been any 2015 builds yet?

On both the 2-26-26372 and 3-1-26405 builds, both wl0 and wl1 are detected as 2.4 GHz interfaces, and wl1 does not give the opportunity to use 802.11a or 802.11ac.. wl1 should be 5 GHz. Screenshot is attached. I've confirmed that 2-24-26348 works fine, and the problem started with 2-26-26372. I've tried both `erase nvram` and resetting to factory defaults through the web UI.

I agree with you Haul. This only happens after the final clearing of nvram.

raykovski, i think you did not do the final clear nvram. Step 11 in this instruction http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Asus_RT-AC66U

I tried again with today's 26424 build, and this build appears affected as well. When dirty flashing from 26339, the radios worked normally. After running `erase nvram` and rebooting, however, the wl1 interface was again reported as 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz.

Thanks for the info Haul! I stopped updating my firmware now because i am using static ip and am tired of typing mac and ip address.

To Brainslayer, please fix this issue. Thank you in advance!

I can confirm that both wireless interfaces are only showing up as 2.4Ghz in the wireless management screen.

I am currently using the latest beta firmware 26446. 5 Ghz works just fine. When upgrading do not do a nvram clear. It's not necessary. Just do a factory defaults reset from firmware upgrade page, and it'll be fine.

I just tested 03-05-2015-r26446, and all methods of resetting to factory defaults are causing wl1 to be detected as a 2.4 GHz interface instead of 5 GHz. I tried:

- erase nvram on CLI
- mtd -r erase nvram on CLI
- Administration -> Factory Defaults in the UI
- Administration -> Firmware Upgrade -> Reset to Default settings int he UI

All 4 methods failed. While I can flash to the oldest known working 26339 and then "dirty flash" to 26446 and then things work okay, the failure to reset to factory defaults defies conventional logic. It will also cause problems for people switching from stock firmware to DD-WRT. You claim that it works for you though, so perhaps only some units are affected?

I came from stock to 26138 when I first started. Since you actually HAVE the problem, go back to stock and reflash 26446. Do not do a nvram clear. That's where it will start.

I went from Stock brand new out of the box to the latest firmware, I did clear the nvram before and after the flash.
