I am unable to find this router on the listing so I did some research to see if this is compatible.

Can anyone tell me if this is compatible with the DD-WRT firmware?

Thanks!

Sash,

I am pretty sure that is all the information I posted above? I had already searched the forums for my model number and had no luck. I had gone to router detection and it was asking for chipset and ram information and that is what I posted above as well as FCC info and plenty more. Did I miss something else?

Here is the info again just in case.

Hi MikeBCT,
according to this list, your device should be fine: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Known_incompatible_devices

as you probably already noticed, there are not many people giving out advices here...plus one which, ohh well, you saw it already Laughing

I know it's a kind of half victory, but at least leave you with some hope.
It seems that your device it's a fairly new machine, so it will take some times till all the info are available.
According from what i am reading around (http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-reviews/31842-engenius-esr750h-xtrarange-dual-band-wireless-n-router-reviewed), it's based on the Ralink RT3883F and this is listed on many devices on which you can install Open WRT (http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start), so DD WRT then should be fine.

Have a look at this too: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=86305

Edit:

Try to send a private message to LOM, it's the same person which posted the interesting info on the previous link up here, plus he seems to be knowdgeable and even more importantly, elaborates in an intelligent manner his answers rather than tell you things as "read the guidelines".....and please if you find the right answer, post it here so everybody can benefit from it Wink
Good Luck!

There is no dd-wrt supported router with the same hardware specs so there is no compatible dd-wrt firmware for you to use.
