15. Write bootscript into bootloader
RedBoot> fconfig boot_script true
boot_script: Setting to true

RedBoot> fconfig boot_script_data
boot_script_data:
Enter script, terminate with empty line
>>fis load -l linux
>>exec

This part I don't see show up when I type in the above script so am I doing something wrong?


Update RedBoot non-volatile configuration - continue (y/n)? y

... Program from 0x80ff0000-0x81000000 at 0xa87e0000: .

nevermind, but I do have a new issue in the 2610 that I flashed and activated, I put the device into Bridge Route mode expecting the device to get the IP address but also have a lan side for the device.

The original Engenuis firmware does this but the DDWRT firmware doesnt? Or does it need to be in WDS?

I was hoping it could be used as a bridge router, then be able to plug a device into it.

No you are doing it right, if you read up, it says "terminate with an empty line" so basically just click "enter" again (that would be as inserting an empty line's command) and you will get to the next step.

Have you been able to solve your issues yet?
