sorry to dig up a old post. can't seem to find a answer
can a WBMR-HP-G300H be reverted back to stock firmware?
Simple and plain: no it can't be done.
Since this thread is years old, I doubt there will be any solution. dd-wrt is a quicksand. If you fall inside, you can't come back. My 80dollars gigabit router serves as only a wireless AP. Because switch is not working properly in any build. File transfers between clients which are connected via cable not passing the 5MB/s mark. It is not natural for a gigabit switch. So dd-wrt firmware for our beloved WBMR-HP-G300H is complete disaster imho. If you ask me, don't flash it with just for transmission or just for fiddling some advanced networking preferences. Doesn't worth it. I am looking for a nice guide for openwrt now.
Following the instructions from the link above I was able to revert to the original Buffalo firmware. One thing I would like to point out that when I reverted with the decrypted firmware I had to flash once more with the original (encrypted one) from Buffalo's web site in order to get the modem working properly.
