ZTE MF637 (Telekom) an WRT160NL?

Hier habe ich noch einen älteren ZTE MF 637 UMTS Stick (Telekom) mit Steckplatz für eine Micro-SD-Karte liegen.

Laut UMTS-Modemliste müsste das Modem unterstützt werden.
Habe ich probiert, ist mir aber leider nicht gelungen.
Zugangsdaten hatte ich im Menü eingetragen, mehrfach überprüft. Es gibt jedoch keine Verbindung, die Status-LED vom Stick bleibt rot.
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std - build 14896

Stick und SIM-Karte funktionieren direkt an einem Laptop.

Muss man beim Anschluss etwas beachten?
