Please use this post to report issues with Fractal's nightly builds, which in this case is 20058.

I was asked to clean up the thread due in part of many requests within the thread were off topic, namely about access to barry's FTP which hosts the fractal builds, if you are unable to access it, too bad, you'll have to either wait for an official build to be released via FTP or else ways, barry will no longer be making 'special' unbannings to the IP's that are banned.

Hope everyone is having a good evening... Just a FYI to do a full roll to put on the FTP its like a gig and takes about an hour... I ran time against my compile script for fun.... 20014

I am checking the new asus wl driver tonight, might be something nice in there,

Fractal: as a follow up on my QoS issues, my router hasn't locked up a single time since disabling QoS just as a couple other users have reported. Would you like me to attempt simply enabling only the bandwidth control portion and try to eliminate that?

Also, what was the outcome of testing the apply settings for wireless security on multiple interfaces?

so again, I have three issues
1. if automatic drive mount is disabled in GUI mount command doesn't work

2. if automatic drive mount is enabled, two partitions are mounted into the same directory

3. unable to save WPA2 personal password for wl1. script goes forever.
(setting password for wl0 works OK)

I had a similar problem, WNDR3400 v1
dd-wrt.v24-20006_NEWD-2_K2.6_std_usb_nas-nv64k.bin

Can't set wireless security settings.

Tried to run this on E3000 hoping OpenVPN would work (been broken on e3000 since 17201), using exact config from 17201 for openVPN I get nothing in OpenVPN status tab now
I know some say OpenVPN works...but for those who have it working, is it on NV60k build? I dont think so after testing every build available since 15962...
Save/Apply settings for wireless security are causing script timeout.

On OpenVPN tab, cannot set netmask using Router mode (tun) any netmask reverts to 0.0.0.0 after save/apply settings

OpenVPN has been broken since around build 19210, see the open ticket in Trac:

http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/2536

The netmask reverting to 0.0.0.0 issue was a seperate minor bug in the GUI which was fixed but I can't remember exactly where in the timeline. It got fixed roughly around 18000-19000 builds

Netgear R7000 overclocked to 1.2GHz - DD-WRT v3.0-r35965M kongac

IPv6 6in4 (HE.net), OpenVPN (with PBR and split tunnelling), Entware, dnsmasq with ipset

Easy ipset support for the R7000

VPN speed: Download: 77.96 Mbps Upload: 5.00 Mbps (AES-128-CBC HMAC-SHA1)

Yes you can get 50 Mbps+ with OpenVPN on a R7000 if you configure it properly!

Using NV60k build the netmask is still broken up to build 20006; I see nothing on the status page either indicating that OpenVPN is even running...OpenVPN doesnt work on NV60K using any build after 17201...maybe works with NV32 builds...maybe stores the variables in a different part of NVRAM that is corrupt/inaccessible... I dont know!
Edit: Netmask can be set with eko build 18946 but OpenVPN still wont start; broken in BS builds

Hi Peter,

Apologise, but could you please add the screenshot of your configuration and the parameters ein the firewall / startup ?

I can't connect to the VPN with your same build, but if you confirm that I need to try again... (I'm saying again, because this matter is driving me crazy and I tested at least 12 diferents builds...)

Many thanks in advances.

Kindest regards.

Hi Peter,

Apologise I didn't see your post before, thank you very much to take time to help me.

Let me check if it's working for me and I will let you know the results, because in my case it's a bit complicated, because I'm trying to connect every E4200 to the main server.

Many thanks and let's keep in touch.

Regards.

Hi Peter,

Replying myself, didn't worked for me...

Yesterday I passed through a awfull situation, one of my E4200 was semi-bricked and I needed to use the "bad recovery flash utility" with the mini build, in order to make it works again...

Anyway, thank you very much for your help and posting your details, but I think that my problem is linked to the "E4200 are bad clients", because in the past with the WRT160NL were working perfectly...

Many thanks and let's keep in touch.

Regards.
