Last shot using the nvrambak.bin of the WRT160NL in the E4200 it works, but after a reboot the router can't boot.

off topic but I had to chime in.

you restored a config backup from an atheros chipset device to a broadcom device. That was not good. I don't think serial will work.. maybe, but I don't think so.

Hi Barryware,

No worries nothing happen and after 30/30/30 returned to live, hehehe

Thanks in any case.

Regards.

Should I use dd-wrt.v24-20058_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-RT-N16.trx instead of the generic .bin?

This message confuses a lot of users. Its just a notice from the Kernel stating that the Kernel FPU emulation is disabled, therfore userspace needs software floating point emulation. The message will appear regardless of whether the toolchain was build with or without soft-float since the Kernel cannot determine this.

OpenVPN not working here...using GUI for config and very simple config at that...only certs and TUN mode...all works up to build 17201 but VPN service does not start on any build after 17201???

Also Netmask is still broken (reverting to 0.0.0.0) How is this working for some but not others?? The only "workaround" is to change to TAP mode and set netmask, then back to TUN mode, but the service still does not start at all regardless of the voodoo I try....using e3000 OpenVPN build

Clearly the GUI is broken in TUN mode and nobody seems to have tested that
I was using SHA256 after SHA1 got broken...now neither work Evil or Very Mad

Did not know what the error exactly meant
Thanks for the explanation.

USB storage for optware isn't working anymore.

For some reasson scripts aren't executing anymore and rc_startup does not finish
Killing pid and restarting ain't working either.

Could this be related to the update in usb drivers?
Dir is accessible r/w and remounting works fine.

Hi Fractal,

Is there any chance you are able to build the Atheros 1043ND version?

If not, understood, and not a problem. Smile

To get back on myself

If tried your build 20006 and the startup scripts are working as normal.
Testing on E3200 nv60 mega

Must be something related to the last changes.

Is there any other mirror links or something? This FTP has always been a snail in loading and downloading anything, from multiple ISPs. 110 bytes/sec really...

geokilla, it doesn't take a lot of time to search for the link. If you looked in the first post, it states to not ask (or it did at one point).

Fractal, is there any headway being made on SVN 2580? Any insight that you could provide on fixing it? I ask as you were the one that initially got support working for it.

Hi Macgyver,

I can confirm your post, from my side I can establish the connection, but nothing working here with: 3 - E4200 one as a server and the other 2 as a client.

I have tried also to test with mobile, laptop and tablet and nothing works with this other devices I can't establish the connection.

Being honest I don't know what is wrong here, but I posted my logs if any one can confirm what is the mistake or fault here... I used the same configuration that was working in the past from my side.

Many thanks and regards.
