Hi,

I have a WRT-350N and a Netgear vvg2000. they are both connected with a cat-5e cable connected between them.

My internet is served by the Netgear (stock firmware)

i have just installed DD-WRT latest version on my Linksys.

I have 2 floors in my house that i would like to have a continues and extended coverage of my wifi network.

I would like to know how to configure the DD-WRT on my linksys to serve as a wifi extender to the netgear.

the end goal is to have 1 SSID and that my phone or Ipad will all ways have full reception not matter where i am located in the house.
today i have 2 separate SSID's and if the phone is catching on it will not release it even if the other SSID is stronger (much stronger), so today i have to manually connect to the other SSID in order to have adequate reception signal.

Thanks to all the helpers.

Answer to the question above can be found:

Works like a charm.

Thanks.
