Hi all,

Unfortunally i did something stupid by writing webupgrade firmware in SSH...
My router is now bricked. Only shows the power LED.

I installed TFTP32 and put the router is recoverymode. Tried with stock TPLINK and all av. at the DD-WRT website.
After the firware is picked up by the router; it just reboots back to the power LED.
On the Stock firmware the WPS icon (recovery) stays lit for 1-2 minutes and then the router reboots and goes back to the power LED.

The router is rev. 1.2

Anyone know what i else i can do? I have no serial-cable wire to try that.

Thanks for the help.

Joao

Edit; i already tried the steps here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=921043&highlight=#921043
After reboot only shows the power LED.

The instructions as shown on the link that you have tried specified to use a tftp server but tftp2 that you used is a tftp client. Try the tftpd32 as recommended or solarwinds or PumpKIN.

In case you still have problem after using tftp server, try use a XP computer with 100M network cards (my experience with my F5D8235-4 v2 which may or may not applies to your case).

Thank you for the reply. I used TFTP32 from here: http://tftpd32.jounin.net/
Sorry i did not explain it correctly, i wil change.

I am using Windows 8.1 and TFTPD32 is being found by the router on IP 192.168.1.66.

Thanks,
Joao

As per this openwrt wiki: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wdr3600 , it seems that TFTP method may only works on some version 1.5 routers. If it doesn't work for you, may be you need to try serial approach.
