Got a new R6300V2 today and installed 24710.
Unfortunately 5G doesn't work with iPad or iPhone. Tried Mixed and N only, Unencrypted or WPA2-AES but clients cannot connect. 2,4G works perfectly.

Just got a brand new router this morning and also couldn't connect with iPhone and a Sony Vaio laptop on 5G, later it connected, but no internet. LAN ports work now. So I have an MR3020 travel router attached on the LAN port (running DDWRT), while I'm considering putting DDWRT on the Netgear.

Pretty sure it is a setup error, as with latest drivers a lot of users confirmed that IPhone/IPad is working. Although I can't test as I don't have a device. _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

Kong, thanks for the wonderful firmware. I've flashed routers before, so I had an idea of how it worked. I used the default netgear firmware update page and it took. I love the build and am very appreciative of all the work. Thanks to you all I get an extra 20Mbps on my speed. I have found that if you are using linux as your desktop os, then manually assigning your ip address to your dektop, it helps increase speed too. Now, since I did find this, may I ask why this is? If this is the wrong forum, just disregard the question. Otherwise, you guys whom develop dd-wrt ROCK!!!!
Well, why should you take a No for a No?
Come on, do it. Flash the R6300 firmware on it since you don't trust the reply given.. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

I installed the latest 25015 K3-AC on my R6300v1 and my clients can no longer PPTP VPN. It's like it's blocked like PPTP VPN is disabled, but I check the VPN Passthrough and it is enabled. I've done a full 30/30/30 reset and it is still blocked. I reverted to my WRT400N until this is fixed.
I just bought 8 of these routers for a business, and I have heard a lot about DD-WRT but can someone tell me how it might fix some of the issues I am having with range on wireless N and how it might add flexibility? Also, what is currently the most stable version that you guys would recommend for a business to have the highest uptime.
Thanks in advance!
