Hi all,

Our main office runs the following:
Smoothwall Express V3.0
with ZERINA-0.9.6d-sw-final / OpenVPN v2.1_rc7

Our remote office (Small wireless LAN - 4 Laptops) runs:
Asus WL-500W
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/05/08 ) mega - build 10776M NEWD Eko

SW operates as the openvpn server.
I have verified this works as I can connect from a roadwarrior connection from the same laptop.

DD-WRT is setup as the openVPN client in the services tab as follows:

The OpenVPN log on the Smoothwall box shows the following:

The setup is correct and the how-to I followed is http://www.subvs.co.uk/ipcop_openvpn_with_dd-wrt_client as Zerina OpenVPN IPCOP is basically the same as for Zerina OpenVPN Smoothwall.

Anyone got any ideas what to do or how to go about solving this?

Another point to note is that this configuration worked previously when I was using the standard DD-WRT v24-sp1 mega - build for the Asus WL-500W.

Could there be a problem with OpenVPN in the Eko build?

I know you will say go back to the standard build which works but I upgraded in the first place to Eko as a lot of routers seemed to be bricking with the standard mega build.

Any info/pointers much appreciated
